Blackberry Ridge Farm
Blackberry Ridge Farm is now the permanent home to the Alexander Farm Tenant House, relocated in August 2026 from the J. Wilson Alexander Farm on West Catawba Avenue in Cornelius, NC. Tenant houses were once commonly seen in the region, but have now become a rarity due to development. The Alexander Tenant House dates back to the early 1900s and is undergoing a full exterior restoration. HEARTS is helping facilitate the restoration and looks forward to sharing HEARTS Happenings at the farm to bring this local history to life in the future.
Blackberry Ridge Farm is a veteran-owned, family-and-friends-operated farm located at 14820 Beatties Ford Road in Huntersville, North Carolina, just south of Lake Norman. Situated on land that has been in the owner's family for over four generations, the farm was named as a nod to a long-standing family tradition of gathering wild summer blackberries to make homemade jam.
The farm serves as a local agritourism spot and community hub with several main areas of focus:
Fresh-Cut Flowers & U-Pick
Artisan Hemp & CBD Products
Seasonal Farm Stand
Community Events & Workshops
