Camisha McDaniel
Artist Bio
Camisha McDaniel is an African American female artist from Kansas City, Kansas, now living and working in Charlotte, North Carolina. Her work centers on themes of unity, inclusion, healing, and spiritual connection. Rooted in her faith and personal experiences, she creates expressive works in painting, sculpture, and mixed media that tell stories meant to uplift, connect, and inspire.
Camisha holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master’s in Education Administration. For the past nine years, she has taught visual arts, nurturing the next generation of creatives while also building her own career as a professional artist. As both an educator and creator, she believes in the transformative power of art to heal, teach, and bring people together.
Her artwork has received 2nd and 3rd place honors in juried competitions and has been showcased in exhibitions across multiple states. She is currently part of ArtPop Street Gallery, where her work has appeared on billboards across the world—including in Times Square, Manhattan, New York.
Through a spiritually grounded and socially conscious practice, Camisha continues to create meaningful work that invites viewers into spaces of reflection, unity, and collective healing— envisioning a world where no one is left behind.
