Edgewood Farmhouse

An old sepia-toned photo of two women standing in front of a large house with vines and trees around it.
A white two-story house with a gray roof, surrounded by bushes and trees, under a blue sky.

This is the Edgewood Farmhouse, c. 1840, located in Huntersville, NC and one of the last antebellum farmhouses still standing in Mecklenburg County today.

These photos were take over a hundred years apart, circa 1915 and again in 2026. It's incredible to see what has remained unchanged for the last century. The original clapboard siding and masonry chimneys still stand, and there are many features inside that have also been preserved.

This extraordinary piece of Mecklenburg County's history is being offered for sale, presenting a rare opportunity for a distinguished buyer to become the next steward of this remarkable home and preserve its legacy for generations to come.
