Ingleside in Iron Station
Ingleside in Iron Station, Union County is a Federal-style brick mansion built around 1817, was constructed by Congressman Daniel Munroe Forney, son of Congressman Peter Forney. The two-story house has five bays by three bays, and the front facade features a pedimented portico with four Ionic order stuccoed brick columns. Its brickwork is laid in Flemish bond.
The home has been preserved and remains a private residence.
