Sharpe House Annual Burns Night 2026
Sharpe House’s Annual Burns Night was highlighted by Our State Magazine, a publication of the State of North Carolina for its authentic celebration of Scottish culture, music, and tradition. The feature recognizes the event as a meaningful cultural experience rooted in history and community.
What to Expect:
Guests will be welcomed by a traditional bagpiper before settling in for an evening celebrating Scottish culture, music, and heritage. Enjoy live Celtic music by Celtic Sessions, the ceremonial piping in of the haggis, and a full Scottish-inspired dinner with both traditional and vegetarian options.
The evening includes time for toasts and remembrance, honoring Scotland’s National Poet, Robert Burns, and this year’s dedication to the late Lisa Kellene Beeson McBroom, a devoted supporter of the Sharpe House and local history. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available, and seating is limited to create an intimate, communal experience.
